CDW conducted a supplemental hazardous materials survey, design development, construction administration, and project monitoring in support of the repurposing of the Hurley Building (former library) at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. The intent was to further identify and quantify previously tested asbestos-containing building materials (ACM), collect supplemental samples through destructive sampling, collect and analyze samples for the presence of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), provide plans and specifications related to design development and construction documents, provide construction administration, and project monitoring. This work was conducted in accordance with EPA and AHERA guidelines.
