Marlborough Wastewater Treatment Plant

CDW was retained to provide resident engineering and administrative assistant services during the construction of a $24 million upgrade to the Westerly Wastewater Treatment Facility in Marlborough, MA. CDW worked under the supervision of the Construction Project Manager and the Chief Resident Engineer. The scope included assisting with engineering services during construction, observing the progress and quality of ongoing and executed work, investigating change order requests, providing clarifications to the contract documents as required to facilitate construction, and various other responsibilities. The project involved the installation of a phosphorus removal system to comply with NPDES permit discharge level of 0.1 mg/l of Total Phosphorus in the effluent and a UV disinfection system to eliminate chlorine in the effluent.
